Demonstrations across the country today

Today the UCU across the country is showing its strength and resolve in fighting for better pay, pensions, and conditions at work. If you possibly can, join the demonstrations either locally or in London. Emails have been sent out to this effect and, of course, we are all on strike today.

At the same time, a new report has vindicated the union's position on the pensions theft: it was entirely unnecessary and a dark stain on the record of vice chancellors across the country.
